Beschreibung
500 Jahre nach dem Einschlag von Christopher-Floyd ist Pootland die menschliche Siedlung, die dem nördlichen Eisgebiet am nächsten liegt. Sie liegt an einer U-förmigen Bucht, die erst in Folge des gestiegenen Meeresspiegels seit der Kometenkatastrophe entstanden ist. Die Bewohner haben daraufhin einen Hafen mit Landestellen aus Stein gebaut. Sie leben in Holzhäusern. Der Ort ist berühmt für seine Schiffsbaukunst und die Mol-Jagd. (MX 60)
